We are happy to share
with you OUR GUARANTEE! We stand behind what we
say! There are many problems associated with grading and
then maintaining a book and book-jacket's condition. BGS does
not guarantee that the grade achieved when we first examine
your book will be good forever. Our grade is for that
moment we saw your book and not for the life of the
item. Nor are we saying that we are experts or anything
but humans who are professionals in this field. As you know
all elements including water, air, children and pets can
easily destroy a valuable collectible. Sunlight and acid from
so many things including your fingers can cause deterioration
of your collectible books and even light causes fading and
sometimes worse. In some cases just the passing of time may
cause paper to deteriorate. This of course will affect the
condition and thereby affects the grade of the book and
jacket.
BGS does guarantee the grade of the item at the time we
review and seal your book and jacket with our certificate. You
should take all reasonable care of all your collectibles and
we can not be held liable for human errors, simple
mistakes or things beyond our control.
In the event of any legal action you may file against BGS, you agree to binding arbitration with the American Arbitration Association (AAA)
and that you will cover all costs for the AAA arbitration and arbitrator and will select Nashville, TN as the
venue for any and all arbitration.
